| Pastor Luis and his wife have been hard at work in this mountain top village for over 15 years. Because it is so hard to get to (the roads are dirt and windy as they go up the side of the mountain above the dam) he doesn't get many visiting teams. Until Now!! There is such a peace and presence of God there that we feel it is important for our teams to meet this wonderfully faithful people of God. Medical attention is hard to come by as well and we have for the last three years organized a one day clinic in the early part of the year. Doctor Tanya from Tepic sees over 50 families in a matter of hours. Another Doctor from the Tepic Church donates the medicine!! Pastor Luis also over sees 8 different villages that are about a days walk from El Roble. As we encourage Luis he takes that encouragement even further into the mountains. |
